Domain monitoring
We check your domain once a day, with the same tools as on this site, and write only when something changes: a new blacklisting, a broken SPF, a certificate about to expire. No account, no password.
What we check daily
- MX servers
The domain has MX servers, and they have addresses.
- SPF
SPF exists, is valid and stays under 10 DNS lookups (RFC 7208 §4.6.4).
- DKIM
The DKIM key is published and valid, at the selector given or the common ones.
- DMARC
DMARC exists and is valid.
- MTA-STS
If you publish MTA-STS: the policy downloads and covers the MX servers.
- TLS-RPT
If you publish TLS-RPT: the record is valid.
- Blacklists
The domain's and the MX servers' addresses, and the domain itself, on the blacklists this site uses.
- MX certificate
Each MX server offers STARTTLS, and its certificate is valid, for its name and not about to expire.
How it works
- Only on change
After confirming you get a summary of how things stand. Then we write only when a new problem appears or one is fixed, at most one e-mail a day.
- "Unavailable" is not "fine"
If a check cannot be made (DNS or a list does not answer), we assume nothing: we keep the last state and tell you only after several days in a row.
- What we keep
The e-mail address, the language, the domains, their last state and your IP address at sign-up and at confirmation, until you unsubscribe. Details on the privacy page
- Stop any time
Every e-mail has your page's link and one-click unsubscribe. On unsubscribing we delete everything, at once.
